"Sleepless soldier" (Project Sleepwalker) the project what´s objective is to create the soldier, who does not need sleep.

“Sleepless soldier” is one of the most interesting projects of DARPA:s history. This military controlled project is targeted to create the way that the soldier doesn’t need to sleep when this person is on the mission. The way to make that phenomenon is simple, the brain must be stimulated with the chemicals, what normally makes us stay awake. The reason, why we need the sleep is that when we are awake, the level of those neurochemicals will decrease lower level, and the human neurological system must fill the stores of those chemicals, and if those chemicals can produce by chemical laboratories and factories, the soldier must not go to sleep, if those chemicals will be filled.


The reason why this project uses the chemicals that are created by the neuro system or neuro system support cells is clear, those chemicals don’t cause hallucinations like amphetamine, and the other symptoms of those chemicals is simply that the person doesn’t need to sleep. The system what releases chemical components to the human body will be the same kind, what is used with the person, who has diabetes.


The difference is just the chemical, what must release to the blood vessels. In this system, the key element is the system, what measures how tired the person is, by calculating how many times the eye is blinking in the minute, and then the insulin robot will release those chemicals inside the combatants body, or the combatant gets the voice signal, when the injection must be taken. The ideal way would stimulate those cells with the electric signals, and there will be no need for chemicals.


But this system is far away from the model, what is creating today. The reason why this project denies amphetamine, is that those chemicals that are produced in biotechnical laboratories by cell plan takes, are the natural thing, what every human body is creating. And they will not addict the user. In some fantasies or SciFi-movies will the cells what are creating the endorphins used as the produce the artificial endorphins. This kind of drug is what makes people feel good during their sports exercises, and if that drug can produce with cell plants, we might get the new super drug, what can be more effective than any drug, what is produced today.


The production of that serum is not more difficult than the production of synthetic progesterone, what is used in E-pills around the world. The new way to produce some chemicals with the same method, what is used to produce the progesterone might bring new “no need to sleep” pills in the marketing, and those pills can make the key element of the tomorrows workers life, who are working in extreme situations, and they can’t dismiss their working places during the operation.

Chinese innovations and space lasers are interesting combinations.
