The nuclear thermal rockets will take humans to Mars in 45 days.

 

The new nuclear thermal rocket concept will make it possible to transport humans to Mars, and back to Earth in 90 days. Nuclear thermal propulsion is not a new idea. In the 1970s' NASA planned for NERVA (Nuclear Energy Rocket Vehicle Application). NERVA rocket engine was the nuclear reactor. That reactor was in the combustion chamber of a quite conventional rocket engine. 

There were some tests for that engine in the Nevada desert in the 1970s'. But then the NERVA system closed. Nuclear thermal propulsion makes it possible to create nuclear-powered Moon and Mars shuttles. Nuclear thermal propulsion makes it possible to create flexible and powerful rocket shuttles. 

There could be two stages for nuclear thermal propulsion. First, the crew and passengers will shoot to the orbiter using a conventional space shuttle. Or they can use the laser-powered craft. Then the crew will transfer to the nuclear rocket. That kind of system can operate anywhere inside the asteroid belt. 

Nuclear thermal engines can revolutionize space missions. Those systems need lightweight powerful nuclear reactors. Those reactors might use plutonium that has a weapon enrichment level. Or some other highly radioactive isotope. 

If nuclear thermal propulsion uses hydrogen as the fuel it will not turn it radioactive. That means the nuclear-powered shuttles can operate from the Earth if that system can deny radioactive waste. If nuclear thermal propulsion can turn safe. It can use to transfer airplane-shaped shuttles even to another planet. And that system can operate from regular airfields. 

The nuclear-powered aircraft can fly for 15 years. And that makes them more. Powerful than we ever imagined. 

Plasma engines can be even more powerful than nuclear thermal propulsion. 

If the aircraft uses plasma mirroring. It can make the low-pressure area in the side where the craft shoots plasma. Those ions are making it possible that the craft can make incredible maneuvers. If there is some kind of low-pressure area on some side of the vehicle. That makes the craft will move to that point. 

The rumors say that the famous "Black Triangle" UFO uses nuclear thermal propulsion along with plasma mirroring. The idea is that the laser rays are making ions around the craft. And then the plasma mirror or magnetic field will push those ions away from the craft. That means the ions can operate for stealth purposes. 

Or they can be much more. The ions can make low-pressure areas in the side where the system shoots them. And that thing makes it possible to create a craft that can make unbelievable maneuvers. 

That makes it possible to create the nuclear-powered interplanetary VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing). Nuclear thermal propulsion can give that kind of system abilities that no other aircraft in the world has.

Strange error in nuclear test "EMERY BANEBERRY" 7. December .1970

In 1970 United States military made nuclear test series codenamed EMERY, and it was one of 16 tests, what were planned to explode in underground position. The underground nuclear tests were only allowed test form after the partial nuclear test ban treaty, what prohibited nuclear tests in the sea, close space and atmosphere because of the radioactive fallout. BANEBERRY was 10 kiloton unit, what was detonated 270 meters below the surface, and the depth was too small. The explosion caused the radioactive cloud and very high level of radiation. Two workers of that area got leukemia, because of that test.



That nuclear test is very strange because the unit was shot so close to the Earth surface, and that caused the high level of radiation.  Somebody claimed that the reason for that radioactive catastrophe was that the United States tested cannon, what could launch the spacecraft to the trajectory. In this system, the nuclear detonator would be launched in the tunnel under the spacecraft, and then the pressure would throw it to the orbiter. This is one of the weirdest rumors of the history of aviation, and sometimes I have thought that is the real purpose of ORION-project actually cover this kind of tests, where satellites were shot to air by using nuclear weapons.

This is not the only or the first time when the nuclear detonators would be claimed to use in this purpose, and there is one very interesting detail in the history of nuclear weapons, what could explain the "Black Knight" satellite. In 1956 United States Military made the nuclear tests in the series of OPERATION BLUBBOB. There were test code-named PASCAL-B, where claimed that the steel plate would kick to the orbital trajectory.


 The idea is purely similar to the Montgolfier-brothers balloon from 1783. The balloon was fly because under it was burned the campfire, what made heat air inside the balloon. The same idea could be in the nuclear detonation use under the similar construction, what is of course made by different materials. The nuclear detonator would give heat air, and launch that thing in the orbital trajectory. This writing is of course only speculative, and there would be no proof about supporting this, except the reports or comments of operation "Plumbbob Pascal-B" test in nuclear weapon archives.

We are all read about plans to make the moon shuttle and that plan is very interesting. The moon shuttle would be the spacecraft, what would not land to the Earth, and the use of that spacecraft would be like, the crew and other things would transfer to the normal shuttle at the Earth orbital, and then the moon shuttle would be refueled. The shape of this shuttle would be the simple tube, what can be made by using the rocket stage of Delta or Atlas rockets. That stage would be equipped with feet, what are similar to the rockets that are made by David Hardy in the painting above the text. The name of the painting is "Eros expedition", and it portraits the fictional journey to the asteroid Eros, but the similar spaceship can operate from the Moon and travel to Asteroid belt.

An aerodynamic cone, what would protect the docking unit would be removed at the orbital. Or it can be made for turning away from the head of this spacecraft. The technology, what might be used in this enhanced lunar vehicle is basically similar, what have used in the Apollo-program. The big size allows a big cargo bay and this spacecraft would be also used as the space station for the astronauts. In distant future, this kind of spacecraft can also be equipped with ion motors and small nuclear reactor, what allows it to maneuver in large areas in the asteroid belt and investigate the asteroids. And sometimes I have imagined, that it would be equipped with the high power electric generator, what allows to produce the electromagnetic field over this spacecraft, what would protect the crew against cosmic radiation.


If we think the most conventional model of this planned spacecraft, what would use liquid hydrogen and oxygen as a fuel, we must notice that  the biggest difference of this vehicle for Apollo-craft is, that it could fly between Moon and the Earth many times, and if the operator will want, this spacecraft would be land to the Earth without the parachute. The main motor would impose the thrust, that the speed of falling thru the atmosphere would be safe. And if we are honest, the similar technology can be used to send that tube-looking spacecraft to the orbital. The answer for keeping the speed low enough will be in the computerized ventilation system, what imposes the flow of oxygen and fuel all the time during the flight, that the nose of the rocket would not rise too high.


The secret of rockets is they need the mass of fuel to fly to the orbiter, but the rocket must create enough exhaust gasses, that the pressure of those gasses would be bigger than the weight of the rocket. The motor ventilation allows imposing the pushing force of the rocket, that the non-aerodynamic shape would be possible. But the aerodynamic cone can make that way, it has the hinge, what turns it away when the spacecraft is out of the atmosphere.

We always read stories about Russian new nuclear weapons, and of course, we must notice, that Russian military forces have the very strong relationship with those weapons. Nuclear weapons give attention to every nation, what have those weapons, and they are the good shield for every state. And at the same time, we might wonder, why Russian government doesn't even try to introduce a single defensive nuclear weapon?


Of course we can say, that offensive attack against enemy military forces is the best defense, but then we must consider, that attacking against other nations is always against international law, and making that with high power nuclear weapons causes very much suffering and pain in targeted states, where millions of people would die in those attacks. But why Russia always develops that kind of weapons, what uses megaton size nuclear warheads?



One of the reasons for that is sometimes mentioned, that Russian conventional strike capacity is not so good that NATO has. There are own problems with making GPS-guided bombs and missiles, what allows airplanes to close the target in free angle, and that satellite-guided ammunition is "fire and forgets"-type munitions. Same way some of the equipment of Russian military are very old, and there might be problems in their tolerance. I mean that any nuclear reactor is not outlasted forever.


But there could be more problems in the military technology, what is not mentioned. The Russian military has problems to get computer programs and electronic components, what is needed for high-tech military systems like drones. And the attitudes of the old fashion generals and admirals makes problematic to make new kind of intelligent military technology in the hands of the Russian military. Those generals believe the power of tanks and artillery, with massive firepower. The result of that is seen in Syria, where Russian bombardment destroyed over 80% of infrastructure. That bombardment was effective against the infrastructure of targeted cities, but the destruction was very massive. And the use of firepower was similar as in Grozny, where the use of massive firepower caused more damages than any terrorist organization could ever make.


This is the problem with the Russian military. When they would destroy entire cities, they would not able to take DNA and other samples from ruins, what would help to track terrorists, and maybe some members of terrorist organizations could slip off those areas claiming that they were dead. But this is only thinking about problems about using massive firepower in the urban area. And maybe some Nazis could slip off the Berlin because they were claimed that they were dead.


Maybe some of them would ever found because their bodies were exploded in pieces in the bombardment of Red Army artillery.  The main problem of the Russian military is the very huge size of that country, and this has maybe caused that many wars have been canceled for that reason. In Russia is about 146 million people, that means there is very small population if that is compiling with the size of that country. And that nation has many neighbors, what of course wants to take part of Russian natural wealthiness like oil and metals. This means that if the Russian military would go in the full-scale operations in Europe, some other country could seize this hypothetical situation and attack against Russia, would that state need nuclear weapons for protecting itself.


The Russian military has the problem, that if some man fights in the European area, that same man cannot protect Russian borders in the Far East. And that is, of course, the very good break for military operations in European territory. And we must know that Russia is the nation with nuclear weapons, and we must live with that thing. There is also very much natural resources like gas, what Russia wants to sell to the West, and that makes the relationship with that nation very complicated, and many political leaders wants to forget the situation in Ukraine, because that makes problematic to buy gas from Russia, and if the Russian gas would be used in European power plants, gives that  possibility for Russia to blackmail European countries, by cutting gas deliveries, if some nations policy doesn't please Russian leaders. This means that if some leaders of European Union talks against Russia, would the pressure in the gas tube decreased, and that would be the good method for controlling the economy in another country by using the non-violent method.


The reason for decreasing gas-pressure could be explained as the service of the gas tube. And that would be one method to give pressure for European countries to understand that Russia is the superpower and other nations should understand that. And nuclear weapons are very big status in International politics and good shield against military aggression against that nation. They would raise the tolerance limit for Russian actions extreme high, and for the same reason, many other nations have to get those weapons because they are giving better position in the international field of diplomatic talking.

One of the most forgotten patent: Flying Car

One of the most incredible invention in the history is the flying car. It means very cheap and fast helicopter-style aircraft, what allows anybody buy an aerospace vehicle. Those aerospace vehicles can be faster than the normal helicopter, and their functionality is that inside the wheels or at the bottom of those vehicles is the blowers, what pushes it upwards, and then there will be blowers at both sides of the vehicle, what will allow making the controlling easier.


That kind of things is very advanced things, what are interested the intelligence services, what can use them as the evacuation operations. In this scenario, the "flying cars" will rise airborne, and drive in the cargo planes, and those things don't need runways. The name "flying car" means that this kind of vehicle can operate like an automobile, but when flying is needed, those vehicles can fly like an airplane or helicopter.


When we are thinking about capacities of those things, they might be revolutionized the aviation, and if we are talking about the limits of those things, we must say that they are only legal. The technology, what allows to make them already exists. And when we are going very deep, and begin to imagine the situation, that the use of nuclear power is possible, and the reactors are compact enough to set in the automobile, those vehicles could travel even to the stars. The idea of this thing is not mine, and it was introduced in one movie.


Please don't laugh now, but if that kind of "flying car" uses the nuclear reactor, and the outside of the car would be installed the "gauss rail" or electromagnetic rail (WARP), it would be possible to travel the other planet or even the stars with the car-shaped spacecraft, what uses miniaturized nuclear reactor. But if we think that thing by using the technical knowledge, what we have now, we must say that becoming true, the "space car" from the movie "The last starfighter" must need more technical advantages than what we have today. But it would be nice to think, what kind of vehicle would that thing be, but in the real life, there would need more advanced technology for making the spacecraft, what can travel to Alpha Centauri from the own people own backyard.


That hypothetical vehicle can travel to the Alpha Centauri, and the crew of it might be frozen at very low temperature, and if the technology will be sometimes far enough, those crews could be wake up after the travel. But waking up from this extremely low-temperature hypothermia might be possible to disband by raising the body temperature very slowly. The rise of the temperature would be a degree by month, and that might guarantee that the person could survive by this hypothetical spaceflight.

The H.G Wells book "The war of the worlds" is introduced the "Martian war machine" what might inspire by the octopus. This thing bought in my mind the thoughts, that the term. "artificial organisms" doesn't actually mean anything small. In some scenarios, we will send the spacecraft to the asteroid belt, what has the shape of the giant octopus, and those devices can also work like the octopussies. Those spaceships can be equipped with the nuclear reactors and MDD-drive, what allows those spacecraft to fly between the planets.


There might be the very big manipulators behind the spacecraft, what will also work as the particle accelerator, when the spacecraft will send to the asteroid belt. That equipment can use as the ion-cannon, what will break the asteroid into the smaller pieces, and after this, the spacecraft would take the touch to those pieces of the asteroid, and then the spacecraft would bring those stones to the Earth orbiter. When we are talking about copying the nature to space- and other probes, the shape of the octopus will be working concept.

The manipulators can be equipped with plungers, what can touch also anti-magnetic surfaces. Those plungers have one limit. The use of sub-pressure systems needs the atmosphere because they worked with the tubes, what are connected to the compressors, what will cause the sub-pressure and those artificial octopuses can also work many other missions, in the deep sea and even airborne.


In the low-pressure air, those manipulators might also equip with the hydraulic teeth and small size cameras, what helps to control those devices. Those natural size artificial octopuses could be worked as the control of the artificial intelligence, and they might look like real octopuses, but they might have the extreme capacity to operate in all areas of the solar system. The use of extremely small nuclear reactors might make that kind of device possible for the missions of tomorrow.

Is the "Vril-power" the simple electric arc based power system?

The “Vril-power” might mean the very simple thing, and the only thing, what is changed in this power system is the name of the effect of the system. The “Vril motor" might mean the simple electric driving system, where the radio waves make the electric arc under the aircraft, and this phenomenon will raise the aircraft from the earth. The synchronized radio transmitters will create the electric arc, what makes the air extreme heat, and then the system will push up from the land.

Those systems will create so much heat, that they can cause the damages to the inflammable structures in long distances. The “Vril-system” needs extremely high voltage electric power, that this electric vortex can raise the very heavy vehicle to the air, and that kind of system has very many capacities because the only limit in their operating time is the fuel of nuclear reactor. The nuclear reactor is one way to create enough electric power for those high voltage systems, and of course, high power radio-masers can use to supply the high voltage for that strange aircraft.


This type of aircraft needs very different type reactor, what is used in the normal nuclear plants. The reactor must use very high radioactive isotopes, and it must give extreme power. So in some scenarios, this reactor is actually an accelerator, what keeps the liquid radioactive material in moving. The mission of accelerator is actually to flow the highly radioactive material above the magnetic rail. This denies the melting of the reactor core.


The wildest thing what this kind of saucer shape spacecraft can have, is the nuclear accelerator, what is installed in the edge of the spacecraft. The purpose of the accelerator is to accelerate the nuclear particles near the speed of light, and that would slow the time. But when we will return the electric arc motor, it might give the change to move even in the space. The electric arc will give so many particles in the space, that it can move the aircraft in the empty space.

Was The Honenbru “UFO” Was it created by Nazis or Lockheed Martin is the key question because some of those projects are mentioned made by the Nazis, because the military secrets wanted to cover, and that was the reason for rumors, that Nazis had the UFO. The mission of those claims about co-operation with Nazi-criminals was to close the mouths of the top military specialists, who worked in those projects.

And of course, the rocket science wanted to abandon for the Soviet Union. The Honenbru was the saucer-shaped aircraft, and somebody thinks that the 70 meters diameter disk existed only in the paper, and the question about this craft was making the ultimate fighter and attack aircraft, what had revolutionary aerodynamic capacities.

The team what worked with that radical aircraft design created the smaller craft known as Avro Avrocar, and the model of that craft had five motors which of four are horizontal and one is vertical. They forgot that  If the horizontal motors will start too early, will that cause the catastrophe.

The Shape of the vehicle is actually like hamburger or raindrop, and this shape is taken from nature. That aircraft had the capacity to fly high speed and make sudden movements on the sideways. But the Hypersonic disk is not always been the purpose of this craft. The original purpose was to make the cannon platform, what would have the excellent capacity of movements, because it was heavier than air.

As the propulsion system was used the combination of jet and rocket engines. When the craft would rise too high for the jet engines, this aircraft would transfer to rocket flight. Also, exotic propulsion systems might be tested. Those systems were laser, WARP or ion motors.The problem with the ion-motors is, that if the ion burst will be targeted to the electric circuits, the electric equipment what is connected to this circuit would be destroyed. Also, the most dangerous “zero-point” propulsion systems were planned.

One of the most brilliant ideas of flying the disk-shaped aircraft was used the powerful microwaves for flying this model. The microwaves must be very powerful if they wanted to rise the craft from the ground. If that microwave will hit any target, it will melt immediately. The laser was probably though used for propulsion, in the way there was a carbon stick in the middle of the craft. Then the lasers will heat this stick, and then the overheated air will pull this craft upwards.

The weight of the disk was the problem, and that’s why the engineers made Avro Avrocar system, for testing the capacity of this system. The power source of the aircraft was the very bad problem with the power sources, because those motors needed extreme high voltage electric circuits and the power must create by the nuclear reactor, what uses very highly enriched nuclear isotopes for fuel.

Also, the artificial nuclear material was planned to use for creating the power for that magnificent aerial vehicle. There were planned propels on the edge of the disk for guarantee the soft landing in the case, that this vehicles motor will stop. I think that Honenbru or Avrocar could revolutionize the thinking of the aerodynamics, but those projects were too advanced for the time when they were made.
