The secrets of the art of Maurits Escher

Picture I

Kimmo Huosionmaa

The Dutch artist Maurits Escher is well known for his many drawings, what are a good example of surrealistic and awesome sharp way to make the images of the mind possible. When we are looking about two of his work Relativity (1953) and Dream (Mantis Religiosa, 1935) we must see how this artist will handle the space and nightmares.

In the first portrait, the room might seem like supernatural or impossible, but in somehow we can imagine that this space is in somewhere, where the things are flowing like in the outside of gravity field. I think that some people will be inspired by this particular work for thinking, what kind of space would be space station for working area.

In my eyes, those characters, what are portrayed in this drawing, those men might be astronauts or robots, what are walking in some non-gravitation area, where they need the magnets under their shoes, and in some imagination views or visions, I can see that those characters are robots, what takes their electricity straight from the floor, by the electrodes, what is put on their feet, and the robot can use the power lines what is hidden inside the floor, there is another version of this portrait.

Another version is Relativity (1953) and there is the picture of the situation, where nobody is giving orders to the robots, what are walking the endless route in the chairs because nobody is giving orders to stop the movement. When we are talking about the "brother" of those paintings "The House of Stairs" (1951) I can see the robots, what can take the form of the wheel, when they need to run fast, and their mission is to protect and serve those "spacemen", what are in my imagination transforming the persons, who lives in the fictional space station, what is rolling in the empty space.

The rolling movement will cause the synthetic gravitation field, what makes the moving like on Earth possible in that fictional "space cube". In the Dream, Maurits Escher will bring the mind of the people the horrifying situation, where the vampire or whatever monster will become the sleeping person mind, and in the dream world, everything will be real and possible. But there is another way to think, and maybe Escher saw the bodyguard in this large Mantis, what might fly to protect its master, the sleeping Egyptian priest.

One very good theory for philosophical writing is are we humans came from outer universe.

Space station: Source Internet

Kimmo Huosionmaa

There is one nasty story about Lucifer, what heard a long time ago. This is so-called "Galactica"  humor, so don't worry if you don't understand all things what in the Finnish Lutheran tradition is told. I don't understand all things myself, and as you might know, that confirmation school was a long time ago.  This story came to our competition when we were watching the movie "Empire strikes back".

One of my mates told the "prank" joke about that angel who dropped from the sky.  The story went about this. "Lucifer was a mechanical officer in the spacecraft, and he went under his UFO to fix one of those communication antennae. And after that, this angel forgets his safety equipment like safety belt and dropped from the ship to the ground. This caused a very bad chip, and of course, dropping to the ground hurts.

That explains very well why Lucifer was so-called "dark angel".  I would not be glad even myself if I drop from some kind of UFO to another planet.  Well, the evening is the time when the man is the most productive and I like writing. This kind of thinking or imagination is very rare, but it's also very funny and good way to open the mind.

The thinking if the human is a result of the humanoid genetic experiment or is we from the other planets are not my own. One person who introduced them to the world was Erich von Dänniken. That person made books about lost civilizations, and there were many nice photos of Yucatan peninsula and Mexican pyramids. So those books are very nice to read if you are interested in the trip to Mexico or some other country, where are pyramids what you maybe won't see.

I saw one film about this thing on the YouTube. Link to that material is in the text. Actually, there are many films, what are made in Dänniken's spirit. So choose the film what makes you interested about and look at it. If I write something that doesn't mean, that I believe in those things. But as we know, that this is the philosophical and imaginative writing, what must not base on any scientific fact. So this is pure thinking about that thing, what might interested somebody in the world.

Then I started to think what those hypothetical settlers or aliens might be. And that might be a good way to spend time, to think what kind of movie can somebody do about those things. Those imaginative settlers might be some refugees from outer universe. They realized that they couldn't win their chasers by using force, so those aliens landed on the Earth and erased all their technological productions because they were the mark their enemies that their target has landed here.

Are we humans a part of artificial Intelligence

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Robotics and artificial intelligence are the elements of the next-generation military and civil mechanics. But have you ever thought this kind of thing in philosophic focus? When we are talking about philosophy, we sometimes forget that philosopher must not prove anything, only rhetorics of the presentation is important, and other things, what will happen are, what philosophers imagination can produce.

There are philosophers who believe that we are computer programs inside the great supercomputer. But in here I must say that the word "believe" doesn't mean same for philosophers normal people. "Believe" is a rhetorical term for philosophers and it means that he or she defends the side, what he or she ordered to take. Not that philosopher actually believes those things, what that person defends.

I sometimes think if we are cyborgs like some Terminator, but we will never find out is this question true. Of course, I know that I'm a human, not the machine, but when I think about philosophic texts, I can say that normal people can't ever find out are they human or machines? The reason why I say that is even if we will go to a doctor and say that we are robots, that highly trained specialist might say to us, that we probably will need some kind of therapy, and that person will send us to the mental hospital.

Some movies is an idea, that some pilot or astronaut will make a crash and his tissues will replace as parts of a machine. And that is an idea of the movie "Six million dollar man", but when I saw the trailer of that movie, I thought that CIA could arrange that kind of accident, where a test plane will fall from the sky, to make its pilot as a cyborg.

If we think that philosophical question very hard, we can say that we actually know only things, what doctor will tell us? But today I want to make long text, and that's why I'm writing it in here, and we will go the little bit longer in our thinking. How we ever can be sure, that we can get real information from doctors.

They might lie to us, or those X-ray pictures of our body might be changed. That might be the very good idea of some kind of movies, where guns are blazing and dark dressed military officials run around the scenes but are you ever thought, that artificial intelligence might able transfer to our brains using modified electric shock machines to transfer it's code to human brains.

In theoretically is possible to modify human brains electric function with that machine, which is used in many mental institutes. This action might happen that artificial intelligence transfers its program code to electric waves, what are made like EEG-waves in human brains. This makes possible that some artificial intelligence transfers it's code to human brains.

Sometimes I have read some comic books about a situation, where "the bad guy" tries to make other people like himself. And in that action, he will connect his brains to other person's brains with electric shock equipment. In this action must the sender use that electric shock equipment to manipulate some person with his own EEG.

In that action must that person remember, that he or she must use the amplifier to make those EEG-signals stronger, and that way that person might test is possible to control other people with this kind of equipment. The system also needs to equip with the rectifier, because that makes impossible for target person to strike back to those targets.
