The polaritons are the tools for nano-size photonics.

"Photonics is a branch of optics that involves the application of generation, detection, and manipulation of light in the form of photons through emission, transmission, modulation, signal processing, switching, amplification, and sensing. Though covering all light's technical applications over the whole spectrum, most photonic applications are in the range of visible and near-infrared light. The term photonics developed as an outgrowth of the first practical semiconductor light emitters invented in the early 1960s and optical fibers developed in the 1970s." (Wikipedia, Photonics) 

The first solution that used photonics was an optical data cable. Those cables are still one of the most secure data transmission systems. It's possible that the system can use outside optical fibers to send so-called empty signals. If somebody changes the form fiber or cuts it the system detects it. Then it can report that anomaly in wavelength to the system supervisors. 


In that system, data travels in an inner optical fiber. That makes outsiders hard to see the data flow.  If somebody wants to eavesdrop on that data. The spy must damage or turn the outside optical fibers. 


And the system notices that. Similar systems can detect things like earthquakes. The movements on the ground stretch and change the route of the light. And that allows observers to see if something or somebody moves the optical cable.

Modern photonics is the tool that makes much more than just transport data.  The high-power computers make it possible to manipulate nano-optical layers. Those layers can transfer photons into wanted directions. The ability to remove reflection from layers is the ultimate tool for stealth technology. And the same thing can make quantum computers more effective. Without reflection, there are not-so-strong artifact effects that disturb the quantum entanglement. 

The ability to create quasiparticles is a great advance in photonics. The quasiparticles can create energy potholes or energy dumps that allow energy and photons to travel in them. The energy potholes in material pull it in together. The quasiparticle can aim photons in the desired direction. And that can make it possible to create the switches and routers for the photonic microchips.

Why the missile, what Spanish fighter shot in Estonia should be found?

The reason why NATO is worried about the lost missile in Estonia is that they afraid that Russians would get that weapon. This would help Russians create more effective jamming systems for those missiles, what are in the key role in the air combat. If those missiles are lost the classified things what would help the "bad guys" to avoid them in the air combat. So that missile must be found primary because of this threat. The small warhead would not be the primary problem, but of course, even the small piece of explosives in the wrong hands is dangerous.


If the Russians would get that missile in their hands, would the electronics and microchips get in the hands of the opponent, what makes quite easy to copy them to GRU computers, and that is the very bad situation for NATO. If the microchips would get to wrong hands the opponent could create the new ways to jam that missile, and that means all of the electronic equipment of that highly sophisticated weapon must be rebuilt.


The computer programs what makes the smart weapons to locate the targets are in the key role in every missile, and if those programs are in the hands of GRU, that intelligence service can create computer viruses, what destroy those missile homing programs, and that would make them useless against the enemy. Those programs can also be used when the attacking profiles of those missiles would uncover, and the tactics against those missiles can create by using the data, what is collected from that kind of missiles, what are missing by accident.

The analyses of the movie "Patrick" and the horrifying visions of the mind control

When we are watching some horror-movies, we must say, that there is a long way to reality from those movies. In this particular movie, the character named "Patrick" has been set in the coma, because he was committed to the murder. The penalty was to put this person in the medical coma, and the reason for that I can't remember. But in the real life, that kind of tricks doesn't work, because the medical coma can be disabled any time when the doctor's want. And in the real life, this kind of actions might cause the risk that some medical doctors will release this kind of person by accident.


Or in some cases, some unauthorized thing will use this kind of medical coma for storing the brutal criminals for "later purposes", what might be something like assassin. In some nightmares, I think that maybe those people, who are set in the coma, might transfer some information like street combat tactics when they are stored in this kind of medical unit. In some thrillers, the CIA or the GRU uses the medical coma for giving medical attention to the men, who were worked in the secret operations and have been injured during those campaigns.


In one of the most horrifying scenarios the mercenary soldiers will be stored in the medical coma, and their memories will be erased after the mission. DARPA has one program, what purpose is to give the cure for PTSD (The Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) without medication. Do you actually know, what this program means? It means that the mind of the humanly been can be manipulated with simultaneous doubled voices or frontal lobe brain stimulation. This program means that DARPA could clean some special forces operators mind, or make the false memories for the people.  This kind of use electronic components in therapy doesn't be notable by the chemical tests.



And in some scenarios, some special forces operators mind will create the memory, that this soldier's sister or brother have died in the terror strike, or this method can use in the right candidate, to make this person willing to recruit to the dark operations. The promising candidate might be the person, who speaks Arabian and that's why the special force's staff will want to use this person as the assassin, what will slip in the terrorist organization and destroys it from inside.
