Autonomous drone technology is advancing.

Drones are game changers in the Ukrainian conflict. Their R&D cycle is so short. That things that had top priority a couple of months ago. They can become old-fashioned in a couple of months.  We know that without drones. Ukrainian defence would fall. The new autonomous, AI drones are now in use. Autonomous AI-controlled drones are the new tools for military and other systems that must operate in places. There.  EM radiation can disturb control signals. The optical wire-controlled drones are effective. But their optical wire causes limitations. In the worst cases, those wires can be spotted. And the laser systems or drones. The mechanical cutters installed can cut that wire. The wire-controlled drone. It also has limits in its operational range.

The independently operating drones that can use AI to search and destroy targets are the new tools. The independently operating drones can be like full-size aircraft. Or some other vehicles. Drones. They can transmit reconnaissance data. During their flight to the target. They can also be used to transmit data. About the radars and target detection routines of the anti-aircraft systems.

The first independent fighter drones made their debut. In combat exercises. Those “Ghost Bat” drones. They are the first public versions of the AI-driven systems. The AI-driven long-range stealth drones. They can be the response to the extremely long-range operations. Like Iranian nuclear facility destruction. The B-2 bombers. They made that mission. In a 36-hour operation. There, they dropped GBU-57MOP bunker-buster bombs on those targets. Those MOP bombs. They can also destroy nuclear missiles in their silos.

The AI-controlled jet fighters. They can make those systems. More surprising than ever before. The AI-controlled systems. They can make kamikaze attacks. And they have the ability to make air-combat manoeuvres during those operations. Data that those drones share. Can be used to train AI. Training AI pilots can be done by using simulators. The simulator operators create tactics and manoeuvres that are suitable for any situation. The AI that operates aircraft is quite easy to train.

A normal flight combat simulator. It can be used as an interface that trains those drones. AI can give a new dimension. To the loyal wingmen drones. Those drones. They could act as jet fighters. But they could also act as missiles. Same way as aircraft. Naval vessels can get a seaborne version of those loyal wingmen. This means that submarines and surface ships can be escorted by kamikaze boats or small underwater kamikaze drones. The kamikaze drone boats.

Electric-powered versions of drones. They could operate under and above the surface. The nuclear batteries. They can give all surface-, underwater. And airborne vehicles unlimited operational time.

They can also escort any surface vessel. Things like RTG (Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators) give underwater and other drones virtually unlimited operational range. Transforming some Shahed-type drones into RTG-powered drones is not very difficult. The drone requires a nuclear isotope battery. Those drones might not make attacks. Or they can carry missiles and drones under them. Even if those drones are slow. They might not be easy targets. Stealth technology makes them invisible to radar. So. Small-sized RTG-powered drones. They can operate unseen in hostile airspace.

And an electric engine. It could carry an attack drone under it. The problem. It is that. If those nuclear batteries fall into the wrong hands. That radioactive material can turn dangerous. But the RTG is a suitable powerhouse. For the nuclear-warhead torpedoes. And the nuclear-powered airborne drone. It can turn. To use a jet engine when it must make an attack. The nuclear-powered reconnaissance drone can operate indefinitely. But attack drones must have conventional engines. Unlike nuclear reactor-based technology.

The RTG is suitable for high-flying stealth drones. They don’t leave a radioactive trace behind them. Those drones don’t need oxygen. The nuclear-powered drone can fly at very high altitude. Even if aerodynamic controls don’t work. The drone. It can glide to lower altitudes.

The larger-sized drones can carry smaller drones. And the new tools are the underwater drones. The underwater drone can conduct reconnaissance and intelligence missions in enemy areas. Those drones can also protect larger submarines. When we think about underwater. Long-range nuclear torpedoes. Those weapons are not always 50 megaton-class. The 10-15 kt warhead . It makes it possible. To create an unmanned system. That fits into the torpedo tube.

Small unmanned drones can escort larger submarines. When something threatens those submarines, those underwater loyal wingman drones. They can attack that threat. Those drones. They can use hydrogen-oxygen. Air-independent power sources. That system uses bottled hydrogen and oxygen in its power cells.

And they can carry other drones. Those drones. They can make operations into hostile harbours. And then they can cause damage to the larger vessels' hulls. In the case of submarines, even a small hole. In its pressure hull can turn devastating. In the same way. Stealth aircraft, along with supersonic- and hypersonic systems. They are more vulnerable than old-fashioned systems.

Why are hackers so unusual criminals?

(Source Internet)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

People always talking about hackers and the threats what those people cause for the national security. Normally the talking is turning the thing, why those people are not able to locate using the standard police methodology? The problem with the hackers is normally that those people will not hang in the shopping centers or bubs like normal criminals. Normal police methodology is meant for tracking the drug dealers, who normally operate in the streets.

The tracking the hackers is difficult because the tracker must go inside hackers residency.  Many hackers actually work from home, and that makes the tracking of them very difficult because if the hackers don't want to be tracked, and they have right financial resources, they will be very difficult to track by the net.

The problem is that those people can make series of the computers, what they can remote use, and that makes the tracking those persons very difficult. If the hacker uses series of many computers remotely before this person attacks against the target, will the tracking very difficult. But for this action, the hacker needs comrades, who will take the remotely used computers in the right places. And then the hacker can jump to those computers, and then makes the strike against the interesting target.

But this action needs resources and the problem with the other method, what is infect some computers with the virus, what opens the computer for remote use, is that the person whose computer is infected can just shut the computer because the workstation is not working correctly, and remove the virus by just re-installing the operating system. The hacker needs the trusted platform for the work. And that kind of platform, where is series of the computer located all over the world needs very much financial and social relationship for this kind of action.

In the case the hackers have got the passwords of the target system by using the sodium pentothal or stealing the password by photographing the screens, they must hide their position, even they are sitting opposite the target. The hackers can use UAV:s to surveillance the offices and those vehicles can also equip with  laser microphones to record the competitions in the office. And they might able to get the passwords in their hands.  In that case, they must route their signal around the world, because that will hide their real location.

Even if the passwords are stolen, and the target organization gets the information about it, they might use the passwords as the "honeypots", what means that every user, who uses those passwords will be tracked by IP-addresses and the "trap server" also tries to get the mac-address of the WLAN-card. Because that information might use to track the model of the device, what is used by the hackers.

If the trackers will get the mark of the WLAN-card, they might get the model of the computer, and by using the payment information, they might track those hackers. Some computers are sold very small numbers, and if the hackers are used their credit cards or fill the guarantee card, they might track by using that information.

Nanotechnology can support the fabric and be very effective against the terrorism.

Picture 1

Kimmo Huosionmaa

The nanotechnology allows us to make the new kind of microchips. Those special microchips are made with small copper or carbon bites what lies on the peptides, what will be touched on the special sheet like the velcro tape. This kind of microchip might be operating in the special chemical environment, where special chemicals make those peptides touch to the surface. And if that chemical will leak or it will be replaced, will the form what is printed on the microchip drop off. This kind of nanotechnology will be protected the microchip be stealing the industrial secrets. Nanotechnology also allows us to mark the product by the unseen printings, what is visible only by the microscope.

Those microscopical printings might help to track the persons, who copy textile trademarks and uses slave labor. The printing is so tiny, that it can be made in the all wires in the textile, and it will be unseen if the person doesn’t have the good light microscope. The miniaturizing microchips have been made possible to make extremely small size RFID-chips, what doesn’t need electricity. Those chips use radio waves what is targeted to them, and after that, they will send the coded signal to the reading device.

That makes those chips more effective, because the coded signal is not able to see my other devices, and that will make those systems STEALTH for the people, who handle those materials. The reading device can installed to the UAV-helicopters, what can do their duty without any warning or the sign, that those RFID-chips are ever read. Those helicopters can be operated over the net, and the operators can be thousands of kilometers away from the operational zone, what will protect their anonymity for other security personnel. And that little equipment can be put in the narcotics cargo.

The UAV:s can detect those RFID-chips and after that those little helicopters will stay on the drug container, or they can drop the small size GPS-system on those vehicles. In the military technology, will that kind of drone very useful to locate the underground ammunition. If those vehicles are equipped with the chemical sniffers, they can look for the ammunition and mines, what are placed underground. After they will find those chemicals they might point the place for GPS-guided bombs, what can destroy the ammo shack.

If those drones are equipped with  Geiger-counters, the drones might look for underground missile bases, what can be bombarded with conventional or nuclear bunker buster weapons. Those UAV:s are the same, what is sold in the supermarket, but they operate with different kind of systems. And they could be effective in that kind of operations, where will be destroyed underground military installations like hidden missile silos or dug ammunition dumps.

The high-tech allows stealing even the most modern automobiles.

Shelby cobra
(Picture 1)

The problem of the high-tech hackers is that that equipment can be bought from anywhere. There are no special permissions needed for buying the computer or WLAN equipment. The hacking of the automobiles and other remote-controlled vehicles is basically the same thing as the wardriving. The data transmission from the electronic key will route to go via hackers laptop computer, and the hacker can use that signal to open the cars and even use their motor.

The equipment what is needed is simply the WLAN card of the computer. Also, the car thieves might use ECM-transmission to avoid the electronic signal pass to the car, and then the doors will be open. ECM-transmission is the simply radio signal what will disturb the signal of the electronic key, and then the computer doesn’t know that the doors will not be closed, and the alarm system will not be activated. The thieves need only the radio transmitter, that operates at the same frequency than those car keys.

Then they must be sharp and then activate that system when somebody comes out the car, what is interested in the thieves. When the hackers want to operate undercover, they might use normal WLAN-boosters, what can get to the right points with remote-controlled helicopters, and if those booster-stations are properly set up and use batteries, can the hackers operate from the very long distances.

And that will help them to avoid the law. By using UAV-helicopters can the hidden hackers also activate their ECM-radio at the right time. After that,  they can get in the open car and transfer it to the back of the truck, and flee away, with the stolen car in the container. After that, the car might sell in the dark markets for some toy of some gang members or people, who uses them illegal car races or even the escape vehicles for some criminal activities like robberies.

Drones and cruise missiles are changing strategic thinking all around the world

Lockheed Desert Hawk III Drone
(U.S Army picture)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

This is a writing about new dangers, what cruise missiles will cause to the nations. The miniaturization of the weapon technology will make those missiles little bit different than before. Of course, those missiles have sophisticated artificial intelligence, what controls their flight. But the small size of the computers has made possible to build a very small size but still effective weapons. Those new style cruise missiles are like small drones, but they are equipped with warheads, what can be dangerous almost all main battle tanks.

The example of new very small cruise missiles are weapons what basis their technology to "Desert Hawk III" and "KZO" target drones, what have used also in miniaturized recon planes. Those drones missile versions might send to airborne and they can fly across the battlefield, and when the operators see something important targets they can fly that missile to hit it with High Explosive Anti Tank warhead.

That kind of drones might also have Anti Radiation capacity, so they can be used as an elimination for enemy radio-equipment and if we will see a very scary situation, those miniaturized drones can be used in assassination missions, and those missions can be accomplished like in some action movies. Those operators must only get the location of their target and after that drive the drone against this target.

Modern cruise missiles might be position in any container, and that makes possible to build undercover missile sites and those masked containers might make any ship in the world as a combat ship. Those very far generated weapon systems might be remote controlled, that those ships crew doesn't even know about those weapons until they will be launch.  But modern cruise missiles have more capacities than ever before.

They can send to airborne by normal motorways, with wheels, using helicopters as a launching platforms. In this scenario, the helicopter just raises enough high, that the missile's motor can start and the weapon can begin stable flight when this helicopter drops cruise missile from ropes below it. And of course, those weapons can deliver from any kind of aircraft, what can carry them. Those cruise missiles can be patrol away from bombers, and they can refuel as any other airplane, and they can be returned to their base as other drones.

And in the wildest imaginations, those missiles can fly inside some cargo planes, what is using as a flying aircraft carrier and service platforms to those weapons. So is it possible that some UFO-incidents are actually situations, where some cargo planes operate with drones or cruise missiles? They might release that equipment to airborne, and after the situation is over, they will fly that thing back inside the plane.

Robots are coming more and more common in the battlefield

X47B takes fuel from "Omega tanker"
(Northrop)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

The news below shows clearly which way the military aviation is going to. Robot airplanes will replace manned pilots in many missions. If Northrop will put outset of robot air refueling system for UCAV:s, there might be more plans to make lethal military power more lethal for any operator in military forces. I think that Navy has been already tested robot versions of P-8 “Poseidon” ASW aircraft and other tactical systems like command posts.

The automatization of those long enduring platforms makes those long-term missions more comfortable for all operators of the navy. Because that set offer is Northrop we might think that there will be also robot-version of B-2 and B-52 bombers.  That will be the very dramatic thing for nuclear forces because robot planes can be airborne even months if their technology endures for that flight. And almost every other airplane can be operated as a robot very easy way.

The operators must just change programs in airplanes computers to the same kind of programs, what are used in “Predator” drones. Those drones might look like manned airplanes with chairs and cockpits, but there will no need for pilots. The use of this kind of airplane might be in assault roles in the situation like Afghanistan.

Those operators are sitting on the chair in some room, and if their working day ends in the middle of flights, operators just go home and evening shift will take a hand of those robots, like in some factories. Like some media persons say that is the very unfair way to fight against the enemy. Bur war is the very unfair thing, and the military commanders choice between own men or some enemies when they are calculating victims, their choice will be that better to kill enemies than making own casualties.

And there is one thing, what supports the use of unmanned combat vehicles in those operations is that drone operator has less psychiatric problems than men who fought in those mountains. If we are talking about real war, the question is who shoots first, and war is not any game with honor.

Robot aircraft have many advantages for piloted vehicles. If U.S military losses drones in some missions, the losses might never become public, because there will be not human victims, and that’s why those robot operations are easy to cover. And the most important thing about creating robot warplanes is that their pilot doesn’t need very expensive training, and all of those drone operations might be undercover.
