Robots of tomorrow might look like aboebas (Picture 1) |

I sometimes thought the possibility to make an artificial liquid robot what acts like the amoeba, what would base the small size robots, which makes network together. This liquid structure is based on silicon-based nanomaterial and small size computers, what will operate together. The material would be like peptide, what can manipulate with electric power. If the electricity is turned on, the peptides would be close the "arms", what are equipped with iron atoms. Those peptides are in separated layers.
When the electricity has the different pole on another layer the system would pull the nanomachines together, and if another foot of peptides would get another pole electricity than another, the feet will go together. And this all system would cover the silicon layer, what would involve the small size fuel cells, and maybe there would be extremely small solar panels inside that mass, and that's why this machine would be black. The silicon-based solar panels are black, and this is why the machine would be also black. It is something, what human ever believed to be created. The liquid robot, what can be used for scientific and military purposes.
Or if that thing should operate in the deep sea, where would be no light, there might be nano-size battery systems, what can be reloaded by using the high-voltage cables, what is crossing the bottom of the sea. The system bases the same technology, what is used in the equipment, what electricians use for metering the electricity from the surface of the cables in houses.
They might be like the bites of black broken glass inside this flexible robot. The base structure of this machine would look like the spider web, where are pearls in this nanostructure, what can be built by using string shaped carbon fiber. This structure allows for an increase and decreases the length of those fibers, and this makes easier to create connections between those small-sized robots, what also works as the brains of this artificial organism. Of course, those small robots need the electric power and that is the reason, why another structure exists.
This kind of machine can separate parts of itself as the pieces and then connect the pieces together. The silicon-type nanomaterial, what looks the little bit like peptides, allows for separation and reconnecting the structure. The material is actually a magnetic peptide, what can open and close the tiny feet when there is connected electricity in the structure. This very flexible robot can be used to investigate the deep blue sea, and it can slip any brick on the rocks, and it can be covered by the different type of sensors. The tentacle for hunting prey can be covered by the CCD-elements, and they could also use for recharging the tiny batteries of that machine, what can be used as the civil and military missions. This machine could look for bricks from oil tubes or control the sea at the front of submarine bases.
